Since acquiring the Portmans brand in June 2002 The Just Group has been able to reposition the brand as one of Australia's premier Fashion Retail brands for young women. Portmans prides itself on being able to make its customers feel confident and sexy whether she is off to work or out for some fun with her friends.

Portmans sells only company owned brands and produces many of its products in Australia. It was named Retail Chain of the Year (more than 20 stores) in 2006 by Ragtrader Magazine.
